DIY PAINTINGS

DIYPAINTINGSNEW

Trying to find the right artwork for your space can be quite challenging at times, especially when you are working on a budget. For those of you who want to spice up your living space without the added costs, try doing it yourself or perhaps pawning it off to a friend if they are willing. I have been on the hunt for these Anne Siems prints for some time now. I decided if I couldn’t find them, I’d have to make them. I picked up some white frames from Homesense ($14.99 each), and sized watercolour paper I had lying around from some previous art class to fit the frame.  After a long night and a couple glasses of wine…Voila!

Prepping For Easter

Easter-3Easter-2Easter-1

Greek Easter bread (tsoureki) finally done and tastes absolutely delicious!!! I also chose to dye my eggs this year using natural ingredients. A more cost friendly and healthier option for sure. Really loved this idea, and next year I am definitely going to try more colours. Have a look and let me know what you think. Thanks to Loveandcupcakesblog.com helping me out!
